rhabd- +‎ -ite

Noun

rhabdite (plural rhabdites)

  1. (zoology) A minute smooth rod-like or fusiform structure found in the tissues of many Turbellaria.
  2. (zoology) One of the hard parts forming the ovipositor of insects.
