seropositivity (countable and uncountable, plural seropositivities)

  1. The quality or state of being seropositive, of having blood serum that tests positive for a given pathogen, especially HIV.
    Antonym: seronegativity
    Coordinate term: seroconversion
    Pretest probability inversely correlates with the probability that the reported seropositivity is a false-positive.
