     Origenes (död 254), som skrifvit vidtomfattande kommentarier, homilier och skolier öfver den heliga skrift, talar ingenstädes om de tre vittnena i himmelen, men väl om de tre vittnena "anden, vattnet och blodet".

     Origen (d. 254), who's written extensive commentaries, homilies and scholia on the Holy Scriptures, speaks nowhere of the three witnesses in heaven, but rather of the three witnesses "the spirit, the water and the blood".
