sudut (plural sudut-sudut)

1. corner

   Synonyms: penjuru, pojok

2. angle:
   1. (geometry) a figure formed by two rays which start from a common point (a plane angle) or by three planes that intersect (a solid angle)
   2. (geometry) the measure of such a figure. In the case of a plane angle, this is the ratio (or proportional to the ratio) of the arc length to the radius of a section of a circle cut by the two rays, centered at their common point. In the case of a solid angle, this is the ratio of the surface area to the square of the radius of the section of a sphere
   3. a viewpoint; a way of looking at something. The focus of a news story
3. (navigation, nautical) bearing, direction: The horizontal angle between the direction of an object and another object, or between it and that of true north; a heading or direction

sudut (plural sudut-sudut or sudut²)

1. corner (the point where two converging lines or surfaces meet).

   Letakkan kerusi itu di sudut bilik. ― Place the chair in the corner of the room.

2. angle (a figure formed by two rays sharing a common endpoint).

   Segi tiga sama sisi mempunyai tiga sudut yang sama. ― An equilateral triangle has three equal angles.

3. perspective; point of view; aspect.

   Kita perlu meneliti masalah ini dari pelbagai sudut. ― We need to examine this problem from various perspectives.
