Irish[edit]
Alternative forms[edit]
- tá grá agam duit (with the radical form of "duit")
- tá grá agam ort ("ort" (on you (familiar)) can also be used in place of "dhuit".)
Etymology[edit]
From tá (“is, am”) + grá (“love”) + agam (“at me”) + dhuit (“on you (familiar)”), thus literally "love is at me to you", or "I have love for you".
