From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *ōtar, borrowed from Sarmato-(deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 239: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "xln" is not valid. See WT:LOL., from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Iranian *ātr-, *ātar- (fire); it derives ultimately from the Proto-Indo-European *h₂eh₁ter- (fire), whence also Latin āter (black). See also Romanian vatră and Serbo-Croatian vatra, which were probably borrowed from it.
