Etymology

In reference to the 2017 YouTube video "Infomercial: The Pill" [0:13], in which two animated characters say "hmpf, women", then loudly sip their coffee. The phrase women ☕ became an Internet meme around early 2022 on TikTok and Instagram. The term later came to be used as a noun, leading to the back-formation woman ☕.
