      Xysmalobium undulatum contains cardioactive steroid glycosides (cardenolides, mixture referred to as uzarone or xysmalobin): including among others uzarin (5.5%), xysmalorin (1.5%), allo-uzarine, allo-xysmalobin, urezin, uzaroside, ascleposide, and glucoascleposide.
