Borrowed from the Hanyu Pinyin romanization of Mandarin 墜胡坠胡 (zhuìhú).

zhuihu (plural zhuihu)

  1. (music) A two-stringed chordophone (string instrument) with a fretless fingerboard, played with a bow, of Chinese origin and especially associated with Henan and Shandong.
