[edit]From Sanskrit पिशाचपति (piśācapati, literally “chief of demons”), from पिशाच (piśāca, “demon”) + पति (pati, “chief; lord; master”); equivalent to Thai ปิศาจ (bpì-sàat) + บดี (bɔɔ-dii).
