Borrowed from German Fellache (peasant in the Middle East and North Africa) in Oswald Spengler’s works. The derived slang was coined by supporters of the Chinese writer and Internet celebrity Liu Zhongjing, who used this word to describe a deculturalized and declined state of a people.
