Verb

見送る (transitive, godan conjugation, hiragana みおくる, romaji miokuru)

1. see off (accompany, escort when departing, especially to a train station or airport)
2. to watch someone/something go by, leave, depart or die

   季節を見送る

   きせつをみおくる
   kisetsu o miokuru

   to watch the season(s) go by

3. shelf, defer a bill (so that it does not become law)
