Templates and categories[edit]

When creating entries, can you please include the {{head}} template instead of just bolding the headword text? This template handles categorisation; the entries you created so far are missing categories now. Can you please add it to your previous entries? —CodeCat 03:19, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to repeat the above statement. The entries you're creating do not have a category in the {{head}} template. It should always have two parameters at least: the language code and the part-of-speech category. —CodeCat 23:23, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you shouldn't use the third parameter like you did in Bkl.. This is only for inflected forms. Etymology should go in a separate section. —CodeCat 23:25, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Finally, I'd like to note that using "Abbreviation" as the part of speech is deprecated. Instead, you should use the normal part of speech of the term. If you want to note that it's an abbreviation, use the template in the definition line: {{abbreviation of|(full phrase with optional links)|lang=something}}. —CodeCat 23:28, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking care of these points, it's much appreciated. I'm sorry if I came across as hash or impatient. —CodeCat 23:35, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Musical terminology[edit]

I've noticed that you're adding these in a variety of languages. But I'm guessing that these are general abbreviations that are used regardless of language, am I correct? Or are they only used in works in that specific language? —CodeCat 23:35, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

erroneous expansion of abbreviation fp[edit]

fp stands for forte piano or fortepiano, not forte possible. In fact, there is no such thing as forte possible, which is broken Italian. The correct term is il più forte possibile (possible is not an Italian word, you might be getting confused with French). Benwing (talk) 22:12, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adding IPA[edit]

Please see my changes here (the takeaways: always use the {{IPA}} template and be sure to mark stress for English). —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 22:36, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
