- Literally, a woman with school-age children, especially one who spends time transporting them between sporting activities.
- (US) A stereotype or demographic referring to women, typically middle-class, who are overly ambitious with their children’s success.
The term "soccer dad" is sometimes applied to fathers, but it does not have the same connotations. It is also more likely to refer to a father who coaches children's soccer or plays soccer himself.
