Usage notes[edit]
Its more common forms are szakadtában, szakadtából, szakadtáig, and (rarely, in archaism) szakadtán. Nouns commonly used with it (as subjects of the base verb) are szív (“heart”), lélek (“soul”), torok (“throat”), ín (“sinew”), könny (“tear”) (i.e. until one’s tears burst out), and türelem (“patience”), in the possessive.
