  1. Stray metallic particles or objects (such as staples, baling wire, and nails) that contaminate foodstuffs, animal feed, or silage.
  2. Stray metal objects (such as drill bits, anvils, and hardware) in the feed material as it applies to the process of aggregate production, i.e. rock crushers.
