Etymology[edit]
Literally, “there is everything there, just like at a church fair”. The traditional búcsú or indulgence is a religious event that can see a large number of pilgrims, which means a fair is often set up to cater for them, leading to a sight of diverse facilities including music, food, vendors of various items and amusement park-style rides.[1]
