From Byzantine Greek ἡλικιόομαι (hēlikióomai), ἡλικιοῡμαι (hēlikioūmai), ἡλικιώνομαι (hēlikiṓnomai), deponent verbal formation from Ancient Greek ἡλικία (hēlikía, age, time period), for which see ηλικία (ilikía, age) for more.
