Borrowed from Old Church Slavonic дрьзъкъ (drĭzŭkŭ), as *дёрзкий (*djórzkij) would be expected, ultimately from Proto-Slavic *dьrzъkъ. By surface analysis, де́рзый (dérzyj) +‎ -кий (-kij).
