Blend of Кремль (Kremlʹ, Kremlin) +‎ блядь (bljadʹ, whore (vulgar)). First used by a rock group Телеви́зор (Televízor) (i. e. "TV set") in a song called «Заколоти́те подва́л» («Zakolotíte podvál») (Board up the basement).
