Etymology[edit]

From Proto-Indo-European *arbʰ- and cognate with Sanskrit अर्भ (árbha, little, small; boy), Old Church Slavonic рабъ (rabŭ), работа (rabota), Gothic 𐌰𐍂𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌸𐍃 (arbaiþs).[1][2]
