Etymology

From earlier *խորհ (*xorh), from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "MIr." is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. *xvarh. Compare Persian خوال (xvāl, food). The spelling խահ (xah) is from earlier *խարհ (*xarh), from the same Iranian source. The forms խոխ (xox) and խախ- (xax-) reflect dialectal/post-classical developments.
