սասանեմ ‎(sasanem)  (aorist indicative սասանեցի)

  1. (transitive) to shake, to jog, to jolt, to stagger
  2. (transitive, figuratively) to move, to astonish
    սասանեալ կալ‎ ― sasaneal kal ― to stand abashed
  3. (transitive, figuratively) to frighten, to terrify
    սասանել զոտն ուրուք յերկրէ իւրմէ‎ ― sasanel zotn urukʿ yerkrē iwrmē ― to cause a person to emigrate
  4. (in the mediopassive, intransitive) to be shaken, to totter
    սասանել ի հիմանէ‎ ― sasanel i himanē ― to shake to its very foundations
  5. (in the mediopassive, intransitive, figuratively) to tremble, to shudder
  6. (in the mediopassive, intransitive, figuratively) to be dismayed, cast down
