From تَتّی f (tattī, heated; ill-fated) +‎ ـڑی (-ṛī), from تَتَّڑ (tattaṛ), from تَتّا (tattā).

تَتّڑی (tattṛī) (indeclinable, Gurmukhi spelling ਤੱਤੜੀ) (of a woman)

  1. wretched (ie. unfortunate)
  2. coquette; foppish
  3. stingy
