[edit]From غزته (gazeta, “newspaper, journal”) + ـجی (-cı, -ci, occupational suffix).

- journalist, gazetteer, one whose occupation is journalism, originally only writing in the printed press
- newsagent, newsvendor, a person who runs a newsstand selling newspapers, journals, magazines, etc.
