Inherited from Prakrit 𑀝𑀼𑀝𑁆𑀝𑀤𑀺 (ṭuṭṭadi), 𑀢𑀼𑀝𑁆𑀝𑀤𑀺 (tuṭṭadi), from Sanskrit त्रुट्यति (trúṭyati).
