[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀘𑀺𑀓𑁆𑀓𑀡 (cikkaṇa) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit चिक्कण (cikkaṇa). Related to चिकण (cikaṇ).
