Borrowed from Classical Persian دروازه (darwāza). Compare Gujarati દરવાજો (darvājo), Hindi दरवाज़ा (darvāzā), Punjabi ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ (darvāzā) / دَروازا (daroāzā), Bengali দরজা (dorja), Assamese দৰ্জা (dorza).
