From Old Marathi 𑘠𑘨𑘜𑘹 (dharaṇe), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit धरति (dhárati), from Proto-Indo-Iranian *dʰárati. Cognate with Konkani धर्चे (dharce), Hindi धरना (dharnā).
