See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit नयति (náyati), from Proto-Indo-European *neyH-. Cognate with Sindhi نِهَڻُ / निहणु (nihaṇu), Odia ନେବା (nebā), Bengali নেওয়া (neōẇa), Assamese নিয়া (nia).
