Past perfect of म्हण्चे (mhaṇce, to say). Compare Marathi म्हणून (mhaṇūn). Literally meaning "having said that".

Derived from the Old Marathi and Marathi verb म्हणणे (mhaṇṇe, to say). From Old Marathi म्हणउनु (mhaṇaünu) or Old Marathi म्हणौनि (mhaṇauni, gerund), Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid.
