Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 239: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "MIr." is not valid. See WT:LOL., from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old Persian [script needed] (tačara-, palace). Ačaṙean following Čubinov assumes a mediation by Old Armenian տաճար (tačar) from the same source, but this is unlikely because of Georgian (ʒ) for Armenian ճ (č). See Persian تجر (tajar) for more.

Noun

ტაძარი (ṭaʒari)

  1. cathedral, sanctuary, temple
  2. palace
  3. feast, banquet
