From ()ませ (yomase, making [someone] read, (れん)(よう)(けい) (ren'yōkei, stem or continuative form) of the verb ()ませる (yomaseru, to make [someone] read), causative of () (yomu, to read)) + () (oshi, pressing, (れん)(よう)(けい) (ren'yōkei, stem or continuative form) of the verb () (osu, to press).).
