1. God of misfortune in the Japanese Shintō religion. Also known as 八十禍津日神 (alternate spelling 八十枉津日神, やそまがつひのかみ, Yasomagatsuhi-no-kami) or 大禍津日 (alternate spelling 大枉津日, おおまがつひのかみ, Ōmagatsuhi-no-kami), which may in certain traditions be considered as two separate gods of misfortune.
