From man'yōgana kanji 差, written in cursive style.

Syllable

𛁀 (romaji sa)

1. (obsolete) The hentaigana syllable that is used to represent sa in old Japanese text.

Usage notes

It can also be added dakuten, becoming 𛁀゙, to represent za.
