-aille f (plural -ailles)

  1. (colloquial, derogatory or result) forms feminine nouns having a colloquial or pejorative meaning, or indicating the means or result of an action
    trouver (to find) + ‎-aille → ‎trouvaille (lucky find)
    rime (rhyme) + ‎-aille → ‎rimaille (doggerel)
