Usage notes
- (distributive-temporal suffix) It is used only with temporal expressions. Variants:
- -onta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant
- nap (“day”) + -onta → naponta (“daily”)
- -anta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant
- nyár (“summer”) + -anta → nyaranta (“every summer”)
- -ente is added to unrounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant
- év (“year”) + -ente → évente (“yearly”)
- -önte is added to rounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant
- ősz (“autumn”) + -önte → őszönte (“every autumn”)
