From Proto-Permic *das, borrowed from a Lua error in Module:parameters at line 370: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "MIr." is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. language, from Proto-Iranian *dáca (compare Persian ده (dah)). Cognates include Udmurt дас (das) and Komi-Permyak дас (das).
