- (Utrecht) First attested as Mijn Genoegen in 1820. Compound of bos (“forest”) and wijk (“place, settlement”). Named after a former estate.
- (Flevoland) Compound of bos (“forest”) and wijk (“neighbourhood, quarter”). The neighbourhood's sub-neighbourhoods are all named after various types of forest.
