A thought: should anything ending ים go into this category? Is that overkill? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:30, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think that's overkill. But I can still try to implement the idea we had before with the {{yi-noun}} template. --WikiTiki89 23:09, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
I just noticed that some Hebraic words' plurals are still lacking translit in {{plural of}}. What idea are you referring to? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:41, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Have {{yi-noun}} detect the ־ים ending in the pl= parameter. Also the one where if the singular has a transliteration, the plural should have one too. --WikiTiki89 02:43, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
That'd be great. If you feel like working on {{yi-noun}} more, by the way, I wouldn't mind pl=s and pl=n being more intelligent (being usable even when the singular ends in a final consonant and knowing when to do -en instead). —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:47, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, we should probably just Lua-ize the headword templates. That would make everything easier. And the adjective declension templates. After that, we can even add a parameter to {{yi-noun}} and {{yi-proper noun}} for nouns with case endings, and perhaps for easier diminutive handling. --WikiTiki89 15:53, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
All of those would be excellent developments. Well, whenever you feel like Luacising, I'll pay you back with a whole bunch more entries. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:03, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: I just Lua-ized {{yi-adv}}, {{yi-adj}}, and {{yi-verb}} (nouns are up next!). They are fully backwards compatible and so far the only new feature is that multiple alternatives can be supplied for the comparatives/superlatives/past participles (see פֿאַרלירן (farlirn)). But I plan on adding more features. --WikiTiki89 01:56, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Awesome! I've got lots of requests, come to think of it, but another big one is making the Luacising and unifying the adjectival declension templates. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 03:37, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
