- A two-week public festival in Munich (Bavaria, southern Germany), held yearly in late September and early October, known especially for the large party tents in which revellers consume beer on long benches.
- One of a number of much smaller festivals that have been organised in some other places of Germany and the world since the late 20th century, generally involving stereotypical elements of Bavarian culture.
