From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek Παλλάς (Pallás) and the related Πάλλας (Pállas), derived from πάλλειν (pállein, to brandish), present active infinitive of πάλλω (pállō, to poise, sway, or swing). [1].
