Has also been linked to Armenian բուրդ (burd), բրդեմ (brdem) in J̌ahukyan 2003, but I don't know how reliable it is. --Vahag (talk) 13:03, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Seems far-fetched, just as the connection with Germanic *burdą, as if both from PIE *bʰr̥h₃dʰo-. But nevertheless, it's usually mentioned in the literature and so should we. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 13:09, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
