Sheetrock (countable and uncountable, plural Sheetrocks)
- (uncountable) Drywall; plasterboard; a building material comprising a layer of gypsum plaster sandwiched between two pieces of heavy paper, used mainly for interior walls and ceilings.
- (countable) Any of the various thicknesses and grades of such material.
- A wall made of this.
Usage notes[edit]
- “Sheetrock” may be a trademark, at least when applied to the building material. Drywall and plasterboard are generic terms.
