@Saltmarsh @Sarri.greek, could you sort out the verb table for me? Many, MANY archaic and formal forms here (εξετελέσθη, εκτελούμεθα, etc) which I have limited knowledge on how to add in. MANY thanks, Rossyxan (talk) 16:45, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there @Rossyxan, of course I'll do it. (I don't know if Salt wants us to add new verbs: he is transferring the existing ones at the moment!). It is no secret, if you wish to know how it is done: the names of the cells are at {{el-conjug-table}} e.g. p-past-1s= and you edit full: like we do in the pages: links and everything. For the archaic forms, the braces are {...} and for the rare forms, the square brackets are [...]. The parenthesis marks for the optional forms are no problem. Also, lots of instructions at {{el-conjug-1st}}.
Wouldn't it be nice if you made an example for Εντολή εξετελέσθη! (I have SUCH a difficulty translating these...). I do not wish to bother you, you are busy creating your great words. The gaps are usually added at Category:Greek usage examples with the translation missing: you are the expert for that! sarri.greek (talk) 17:17, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. One thing: {{el-conjug-2nd-B}} is perfect for these verbs. (the {{el-conjug-2nd-B-'θεωρώ'}} is good for λόγια verbs beginning with consonant, because it adds that (ε) at (ε)θεωρείτο. The vowel-beginning verbs need only ασκείτο (without the ε). sarri.greek (talk) 18:10, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sarri.greek Many thanks for the conjugation, I've translated the two examples there as best I could also. Cheers. Rossyxan (talk) 22:24, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Rossyxan, @Sarri.greek — I was worried about using these new templates with too many verbs in case an error is discovered which would involve later changes. Of course if we don't use them we ain't going to find any errors so I suppose I would say add slowly!
I hope that we will eventually have a decent help page for each template, I have started on a 'general' one at Wiktionary:Greek verb inflection-table templates/Parameters. — Saltmarsh. 06:24, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
