-άκος

[edit]

A lot of these -άκος words need to have their declension tables fixed, from category 2a to 2b, since their vocative ends in -ο not -ε. Is there an automatic way to do this? Poursa0 (talk) 13:46, 17 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Poursa0: There aren't too many nouns with this suffix (see suffixindex) so it could be done manually, though WT:AWB is a good way to do replacements like this (requires permissions). — Eru·tuon 15:45, 17 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Erutuon, for the list. I cannot see the Related Changes at greek Talks.
I corrected the words, @Poursa0, the only one I am not sure of is δράκος (drákos) (if it has a double vocative -ε & -ο). Thank you for correcting -αράκος etc. There are 1) the regulary with voc.sg -ε plus -ο like el:μούτσος, and the regularly with voc.sg. -ο plus -ε. like el:καμαρότος but there are many questions at@el.Appednix for ambiguous ones. ‑‑Sarri.greek  I 22:47, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Α note: lots of such -ε vocatives, were copied through the years from auto-tables of el. and en.wiktionaries and appear at lists at google.searches. Notifying @Saltmarsh. I have a list of such vocatives, if you like, you could delete them, like [εμποράκε], [γαϊδαράκε] and so on., They could be recreated, if a quotation could verify a double vocative -ο plus -ε (Official grammars give a very short list). @Sarri.greek Please could you point me to the list for deletion - or copy it to User:Saltmarsh/Housekeeping#2022 (which is really meant for me to put such list, rather than for messaging) thank you — Saltmarsh🢃 05:35, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
