In fact Zaliznyak reports that it's class d in the meaning грядка and class b in the meaning "цепь, ряд: гор, облаков". Benwing2 (talk) 18:18, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

You can go with Zaliznyak. Intuitively, I would use pattern b but it's because the "garden bed" sense is now uncommon, "грядка" is usually used for this sense. Большой толковый словарь suggests both patterns for both senses. Орфографический словарь and Русское словесное ударение agree with Z.
