We might need to explain how a noun can have a negative form, and why it becomes an adjective in the process. Would the literal translation into English be "non-water"? — hippietrail (talk) 17:53, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, it’s a formatting problem. Should we put that it’s a negative form of ус (us) in definition line one, then start entering definitions on line two? Or place the negative form information in the etymology? Or have an Adjective form header for the negative form info, and a separate header for the definitions. Just as some suffixes from nouns from verbs, -гүй makes negative adjectives from nouns.

- Yes I think Google Translate did come up with "anhydrous" for this one. For now I'm still in Inner Mongolia but here in Ulanqab it seems everybody is Han and nobody Mongol. Tomorrow I might head for the Great Wall and then Beijing so it's not looking like my Mongolian is going to progress very far at all. It's certainly an interesting and challenging language though. Hopefully I will keep playing with it to help deal with some of the issues it presents for Wiktionary. — 60.31.140.66 16:13, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
