Unrelated to دار#Suffix? Compare փողատեր and پولدار.--Calak (talk) 08:25, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Calak: unrelated. փողատեր (pʻoġater) is a modern literary creation and is irrelevant. Perhaps its creator has done a phono-semantic matching with the Persian, I don't know. I haven't added the modern etymology of տի- (ti-) yet, but it is known now to be from the same PIE root which gave տուն (tun, house), so տէր (tēr) is the "lord of the house". --Vahag (talk) 09:30, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Vahagn Petrosyan: Does that mean that տանուտէր (tanutēr) contains that root twice? 212.224.228.102 19:25, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yes. --Vahag (talk) 06:17, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
