Said to be the Alviri-Vidari word for water. It's plausible, given that او is a Bakhtiari word for water and (according to the entry) a dialectal fa word for water, but I can't find any evidence of it; and the Encyclopaedia Iranica includes the example sentences am zimin xub ni = “this land is not good” and ama oka xub nia = “this water is not good”, suggesting that the word for water is oka (f.). I can't access the only references on Alviri-Vidari which Glottolog mentions, The dialects of Alvir und Vidar and Guyeš-e Vīdari. @ZxxZxxZ, Vahagn Petrosyan, do either of you have access to references which might help? - -sche (discuss) 19:42, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
- I found this source (page 185) which translate óka to "water" and ókā-dāndén to "watering [the land]" in an Alviri text. For the latter, compare Persian آب دادن (âb-dâdan), which has the same meaning. --Z 20:50, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

- Oh, I missed that paragraph, which is in Vidari. So, oka and ow are the words for water in Alviri and Vidari dialects, respectively. --Z 12:14, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
